friend in kitchen scene - planning
for this scene we are going to use the audio we have of the news reporter to be the link between the friend and how she finds out about the insident whilst watching tv.
cast - zainab
probs - tea cups, kettle, sofa, tv
location - house: living room, kitchen
friend in kitchen scene - idea
me (shaq) and tiffany had to discuss how to open up the sequence, we believe that the kidnapping will be dramatic enough to catch the attention and interest of the audience as to why it happened. however we think adding a character to the start of the film that is either a friend or family member of the victim will allow us to add emotion to the sequence and highlight the effect the insident has had. this will cause the viewer to feel sympathetic and provoking emnotion is a key way to grab and retain the audiences interest

Final Film
After a number of editing sessions, this is our final film. Our genre is action thirller and we worked really hard so that we could conform with the forms and coventions of an opening sequence. We also added a new narrative to the beginning of our sequence to make our film much more lengthy and make the narrative much more interesting.
Feed the Fish.
This was our our 'Feed the Fish' video. Asante and Shaqullie starred in the sequence and Billie and I edited. We editied using final cut and we made sure that the sequence was continuous, as we used continutity editing. This allowed the sequence to flow.

Opening Sequence - Sound Track
The sound track used in our opening sequence is one that has been vocalled and is owned by myself (shaquille) who is a member of the group and is actually playing a role in the opening sequence itself. i have given the permission to myself and my group to use this track being that it is owned by me and my music group as we are the artists on the track and we also have ownership of the instrumental and all of production, therefore there will be no problems with copyright or owner copyright issues of the soundtrack used.
